New Horizons Changes Weather Closure Policy
As New Horizons moves forward, expanding its communications systems, we have changed the method by which we broadcast our winter weather closings and no longer follow the Prince George's County Public School system. Our local news media will now be announcing our weather closings. You can find detailed information by following the provided link below. NHSSI Expands Services
Opens Office in Waldorf Maryland
NHSSI has opened its first satellite program in Southern Maryland. Designed to serve both Prince George’s County and Charles County, this new location is in the Smallwood Building, a 55,000 square foot professional office building.Located in one of the major growth regions of the Washington metropolitan area, New Horizons Waldorf is directly on U.S. Route 301, 2670 Crain Highway and approximately 18 miles south of the District of Columbia at the northern tip of Charles County, NHSSI Waldorf satellite program will expand the agency’s services beyond its current service location on Trade Zone Avenue, in Upper Marlboro, where current programs serve more than 150 people daily
