Q = What type of support does Employment Services provide?
A = Employment Services provides:
•    Job development (e.g. resume writing, interviewing techniques)
•    Job placement (e.g. job search)
•    Job retention (e.g., job coaching)
 
Q = What kinds of jobs does Employment Services provide??
A = Because we are a “person centered based” agency we do our best to provide employment based on individual
      preference, taking into consideration the individuals experience, strengths, weaknesses etc.   

Q = What are some of the businesses that hire individuals thru Employment Services?
A = Individuals are employed by various businesses in the area (e.g., Giants, Safeway, Royal theatre, Park and
      Recreation, etc.)

Q = Does Employment Services provide transportation to and from work
A = No, working individuals are encouraged to utilize public transportation (e.g., metro access) to get to and from their
      place of employment.
Q = What if I am scheduled to work on a weekend will I still receive support from Employment Services?
A = Yes, Employment Services offers support 7 days a week

Q = I want to go to school will Employment services assist me in that endeavor?
A = Employment services will make the appropriate resources available to you to assist you in that endeavor
      (e.g., assist with the Dept of Rehabilitation Services application)

Q = I am not sure what kind of job I want and/or what my strengths how can Employment services help?
A = Employment Services can assist via vocational assessments, job shadowing/exploration etc.
