The Prince George’s County Local Development Council, in consultation with the Prince George’s County Office of the County Executive, Angela D. Alsobrooks, and the Prince George’s County Office of Management and Budget celebrated the 3rd annual Local Impact Grant awardees at a reception on Monday, July 29, 2019.
The reception was held at Osteria Costa Restaurant located at the National Harbor. Ron Vaughn was presented with a check for $50,000 at the event. This grant award will go toward assisting Day Program participants who live in and/or attend activities within the defined impact area around MGM National Harbor. The award will also assist New Horizons in expanding our community-based programs and services within this three-mile radius.
Out of 2 million applications only 15 grants were awarded. The maximum grant award was $50,000.
