Overview
At New Horizons, our Day Program focuses on person-centered supports in a caring, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our goal is to help individuals with a wide range of disabilities learn skills that we often take for granted. We address each person’s needs from a social, physical, behavioral and intellectual perspective.
We specialize in creating a day filled with activity in a community setting to assist individuals in growing and achieving their potential. Each person has the opportunity to interact with peers and our staff in a way that promotes individualized development, even for those that require greater supervision. We emphasize growing community relationships, whether at a senior center, with a local business or with neighbors and friends.
